- the education of our local community and the rest of Japan on how to coexist with nature
- our research on Asiatic black bears which continues to deepen our knowledge of this elusive animal and inform conservation solutions
- the feeding and training of our beautiful bear dogs
- the night time patrols that help protect the endemic island cats from being victims of roadkill
- the ongoing project to preserve the unique mangrove forest ecosystems
