Forests

This forest consists of a variety of tree species including chestnut trees, white birch and pine trees. It is possible to observe around 80 different species of birds
in this one area and many kinds of wild plants and flowers bloom throughout the year. The forest also serves as a home for many mammals, reptiles, amphibians and insect species including the iconic Japanese giant flying squirrels, montane brown frogs and striking swallowtail butterflies.
